Bonnie Bradshaw Grew up in Hampton Roads

I’ve worked in OBGYN for several years and found my time there very fulfilling. I then attended the Scheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA and upon returning I worked in Neuro- Ophthalmology for some time. I then felt the pull back to working with moms to-be. At this time I achieved my certifications in the following areas:

• Birth Doula
• Postpartum Doula
• Breastfeeding Counselor
• Birthing Education
• Placenta Encapsulation Specialist
• Professional Life Coach

I started COASTAL VA PLACENTA to make sure women had a professional, sterile location where they would feel confident that their placenta’s were safely handled and were offered other healthy placenta choices. So that parents knew if they called me at 2am, I would be on my way to ensure the safety of their placenta and the turnaround time would be swift. I wanted to offer families keepsakes that would last a lifetime. Our babies grow so fast we want to hold on to all the memories we can.

Bonnie is a wife, mother of 12 and grandma of 6.
She is very active in her community and loves working with moms during the postpartum phase. This can be a trying time so support is vital.
Let’s not forget that sometimes significant others can feel left out, so coaching families on what to look out for and how to handle it can help before things become frustrating.
